WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located in Prague, Czech Republic in the heart of Europe. All of our products ship from one of our warehouses here in Prague.

WHERE DO WE SHIP?
We have years of experience in International Logistics and are able to ship anywhere! We have shipped Yoders to every country in Europe including islands, as well as the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

European Union

Parcels: We use different providers (GLS, DPD, DHL, Fedex, UPS, etc.) for mainland parcel shipments. VAT (included in price) is charged according to country of delivery. Businesses with a valid intra-EU VAT number are tax excempt.

Freight: We use Dachser truck freight for mainland EU shipments of grills & smokers. VAT (included in price) is charged according to country of delivery. Businesses with a valid intra-EU VAT number are tax excempt.

EU Islands

Parcels: We use Fedex or UPS to send parcels to EU Islands. Ground transport is used when available with ferries. VAT is charged according to delivery country’s agreement with EU.

Freight: Shipments to EU islands vary depending upon location but are usually by Dachser (truck + ferry) or sea freight. For sea freight, it may be necessary to arrange pickup from the sea port (example Cyprus). VAT is charged according to delivery country’s agreement with EU. For any questions please Contact Us.

United Kingdom

Parcels: We ship packages to the UK with Fedex or UPS. 21% Czech VAT is removed from our sales price when ordering. The UK VAT will be due upon import, payable to the shipping company along with any applicable import duty (usually 0-3%).

Freight: We typically use Dachser truck freight to ship grills & smokers to the UK. 21% Czech VAT is removed from our sales price when ordering. For sales to private persons, we are required to ship DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) so we will require a separate prepayment of the 20% UK VAT. We will cover any import duty costs so there will be no further fees upon import. For commercial sales, the buyer is responsible for any applicable VAT or customs duty upon import.

Switzerland

Parcels: We ship packages to Switzerland with Fedex or UPS. 21% Czech VAT is removed from our sales price when ordering. Swiss MwST will be due upon import, payable to the shipping company along with any applicable import duty (usually 0-3%).

Freight: We ship to Switzerland by Dachser truck freight. 21% Czech tax is removed from our sales price when ordering. For sales to private persons, we are required to ship DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) so we will require a separate prepayment of the 7,7% Swiss MwST. We will cover any import duty costs so there will be no further fees upon import. For commercial sales, the buyer is responsible for any applicable MwST or customs duty upon import.

Norway

Parcels: We ship packages to Norway with Fedex or UPS. 21% Czech VAT is removed from our sales price when ordering. Norwegian moms will be due upon import, payable to the shipping company along with any applicable import duty (usually 0-3%).

Freight: We ship to Norway by Dachser truck freight. 21% Czech tax is removed from our sales price when ordering. For sales to private persons, we are required to ship DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) so we will require a separate prepayment of the 25% moms. We will cover any import duty costs so there will be no further fees upon import. For commercial sales, the buyer is responsible for any applicable moms or customs duty upon import.

Rest of World

Parcels: We ship packages outside of Europe with Fedex, UPS, or Postal Service. 21% Czech tax is removed from our sales price when ordering. The buyer is responsible for any applicable local taxes or import fees and may also be reponsible for any extra documents that are required for their country, such as a Certificate of Origin.

Freight: Shipments to the rest of the world vary between truck freight, sea freight, and air freight. 21% Czech tax is removed from our sales price when ordering. Air freight (faster, more expensive) is usually door-to-door while sea freight (slower, less expensive) may require the buyer to arrange pickup/delivery from the sea port. The buyer is responsible for any applicable local taxes or import fees and may also be reponsible for any extra documents that are required for their country, such as a Certificate of Origin. HOW WILL MY YODER ARRIVE?
The BBQs are wrapped and strapped to a pallet. Most items are shipped fully welded and assembled. Standard YS480s and YS640s are shipped in boxes with the bases disassembled. Instructions can be found on the outside of the box which explain how to begin the assembly process, which usually takes about 30-45 minutes. Two people are recommended for this process.

HOW CAN I ARRANGE DELIVERY?

For Dachser truck freight shipments in the EU, we ship to private addresses with pre-scheduled delivery. So it is important to provide a valid contact telephone number for delivery. This means that Dachser or their local partner will contact you when the shipment has arrived at the local depot. You can arrange a delivery date within 5 days. It may or may not be possible to arrange a specific time window depending on the local depot/driver. If the delivery does not show up on the scheduled date, please contact the delivery company again, as sometimes the truck might have gotten delayed, stuck in traffic, or for any other reason were unable to complete delivery. We are not responsible for missed or delayed deliveries, and it is out of our control. It will be a faster solution to contact the local delivery company directly.

WHERE WILL THEY LEAVE MY BBQ AT DELIVERY?

For deliveries to private persons (and businesses if requested), the truck will have a lift gate to deliver the shipment to the ground. The driver will take the pallet off the truck, but it is your responsibility to bring the shipment onto your property. The driver is under no obligation to help you move the shipment to any location.

WHAT IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH DELIVERY?

Please Contact Us if you have any questions or problems with delivery and we will do our best to help. However, please understand that once the shipment leaves our premises, delivery is out of our control. In most cases it is a better solution to contact the local delivery partner. We are not responsible for inconveniences or additional fees resulting from the following (but not limited to):

Delayed delivery
No-show scheduled delivery
Limited access area (delivery truck cannot access your address)
Re-deliveries
Requirement to pick up your delivery at the nearest freight terminal due to delivery issues

WHAT IF MY BBQ IS DAMAGED WHEN IT ARRIVES?
All of our shipments are insured. We do our best to package the products so that they arrive in perfect condition. But these are big, odd-shaped and heavy smokers and occasionally damages can occur in transit. Upon arrival, inspect the pallet and packaging while the driver is present.

If the product is severely damaged (bent or broken parts, deep scratches, etc); take photos and note the damages on the delivery note. If the damages are repairable (parts can be replaced), accept the shipment and contact us. If the product is critically damaged and is not repairable, refuse the shipment.
If smaller cosmetic damages are visible (torn packaging, broken pallet, etc), take photos and then open the packaging while the driver is still present and inspect the product to make sure larger damages are not present inside. Note ANY damages in the delivery note, even minor.
If shipping damages are found after the driver leaves, take photos and contact us WITHIN 3 DAYS of delivery. These hidden damages cannot be claimed after 3 days.
Minor scratches and abrasions to the black high-heat paint are not considered as damaged shipments as they are easily and quickly repaired with the included can of original Yoder paint. This paint is designed and chosen for this purpose throughout the lifetime of your smoker. Please contact us for instructions if minor touch-ups are required at any time.
